Legal Notices for Patent Translation & Filing Services

1. Translation Timelines
1.1. The estimated timeframe for translating PCT patent applications submitted in English is one (1) week, while applications submitted in other languages require two (2) weeks for completion.
1.2. The estimated timeframe for translation and submission to the National Patent Offices is two (2) weeks for PCT patent applications in English and four (4) weeks for applications in other languages, calculated from the date of receipt of all required documents. This period includes translation, preparation in compliance with the relevant national requirements, and submission to the selected National Patent Offices. Additional services beyond these core activities are not included.
2. Translation Fee for Non-English PCT Applications
2.1. If the PCT patent application is not in English and translation into English is not included in the service order, an additional translation fee of USD 899 will apply. Translations into languages other than English are performed exclusively from English.
3. Submission Requirements
3.1. Upon successful payment, the client must upload the following patent application documents in DOCX format: Abstract, Description, Claims, and Drawings (if applicable).
3.2. Documents must be provided in one of the following languages: English, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Portuguese, or Spanish.
4. Pricing and Page Limits
4.1. The stated service fees cover up to 50 pages of a patent application in English, German, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, or up to 50 pages in Chinese, Japanese, Korean.
4.2. The following formatting specifications apply:
Page size: A4 or Letter
Font size: No smaller than 12
Line spacing: No less than 1.5
Margins: No less than 1 inch (25 mm)
4.3. Additional charges will apply if the number of pages exceeds the specified limits, in accordance with the pricing listed under the "Prices" section.
5. Claims and Priority Documents
5.1. The service fee includes up to 10 claims and 1 priority document.
6. Exclusions
6.1. The service price does not include fees associated with multiple dependent claims for applications filed in the United States.
7. Submission Deadline
7.1. If the required patent application files are not uploaded within two (2) months following payment, a refund of 85% of the total amount paid will be issued, and the submission request will be canceled.
8. Additional Fees
8.1. Any additional official fees imposed by national or regional patent offices are the sole responsibility of the client and must be paid separately.
9. Deadline Considerations for New Clients
9.1. For new clients, the remaining time before the national phase entry deadline (typically 30 or 31 months from the priority date) must be at least three (3) weeks for applications in English and four (4) weeks for applications in other languages.
9.2. If the aforementioned timeframe cannot be met, an additional fee may be applied subject to prior agreement with a representative.
